Wellbeing at Work - WHY IS IT SO IMPORTANT?
Well, because we spend 70% of the average day working which means the average person spends around 12 years of their life physically working.
That’s a lot of time.
When it comes to work, many of us ignore posture, comfort, mental health, diet and as a result, our wellbeing dwindles drastically. It doesn’t matter what you do for a living, where you work or what kind of person you are, whether you’re a freelancer, a budding entrepreneur, a junior at a multinational company, or anything else for that matter, chances are at times you work too much and work too hard.
In this fast-paced and often cut-throat modern world, it’s hard not to work intensively, especially when we love our job, but all too often our working habits let us down, resulting in physical and mental health complications. But small changes can make a big difference.
